Noah Adam - 2 years old!

Well, we are offically into the terrible 2's.

Noah's birthday came and went without much excitement. We did squeeze a quick trip to CA into the mix. Emily got her birthday present from my mom - an American Girl Doll. So....we had to schedule a trip to the American Girl Doll store why we were in CA. WOW is about all I can say. I mean, really, a hair salon for the dolls? Emily was a little overwhelmed but managed to pick out an outfit she named Sarah. We also managed a lunch, thanks to my mom, sister-in-law, and 2 nieces - Lauryn and Taylor.

Noah had fun riding on the dirt bikes with Daddy and the rocking horse that used to be my oldest niece - Lauryn's. Both kids enjoyed the trampoline!

Noah's favorite word right now, besides tractor, cow, and "I running" is yep, you guessed it - NO. He loves going to the new house and seeing the tractor and sometimes gets to ride it.

We did have quite a bit of snow hit us last weekend. Couped up in an apartment with 2 dogs and 2 kids was not much fun, but we managed to get out into the cold, freezing rain, to play in the snow for a bit.

Mike managed to find a box in the apartment (imagine that!) and used that for a sled for the kids. All I could think was redneck. But hey, whatever works! The kids loved it.

The last of the snow is almost melted away, but the good news is more might be coming this weekend! We'll see.

Meanwhile we have a closing date on the house! 26 Feb at 3 PM! I think Mike is more excited than I am.

Here are some updated pictures of the house..

The kitchen countertops were installed today as well as the master bath and the kids bath countertops.

Here is a picture of the vinyl flooring for the entry way and you can see the doorknobs we chose as well.

Here is an updated picture of the front of the house with columns. There will be one more in the left hand corner when it's all done. They are painted white but I don't have a picture of that.

Here is Mike's pride and joy - the fireplace! You can also get an idea of the paint we chose although it never seems to come out in the pictures as it really is in the house.

Since it's been awhile since I updated and I've already inundated you with pictures - here is one last one. This is the completed tile for the master shower.

We are very excited about the progress and how everything is coming out with the house. We have ordered everything that needs to be ordered and should be completed on target. We can't wait.

As always, we hope that God continues to bless you as He has us. We hope and pray that everyone is safe, warm, and with friends and family in spirit if not in person.

Take care and God Bless!
Gretchen, Mike, Emily, Noah, Nikki, and Elsie
