Matthew 28:7 (Whole Chapter) And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
He is Risen!
The Easter story is one of the basic foundations of Christianity. Knowing that Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God to hold a place for us is nothing but a miracle from God. It is a foundation of faith.
We had a good 3 day weekend since Mike and I were both off work and the daycare was closed. We hung around the house a lot and tried to relax, but you know how it goes with 2 very active young kids.
The kids had Easter celebrations at school and got some good loot there! (my butt and thighs are NOT happy about it either)

This is Noah's girlfriend, Presley.
They are very funny to watch, they react to the other when we drop them off and hug good-bye. Noah is very gentle with her when they play which I find quite amazing because he is a brute when he and Emily wrestle. Probably because Emily is very strong and mean!
On Saturday, we went to a local park to an easter egg hunt put on by the local church. They had bunnies the kids got to see, touch, and Noah even kicked one! NICE. But, we got some really good loot there! (NOT good for the butt and thighs)

"Where are you mommy?" Emily asked when viewing the pictures...Mommy was working and taking the picture, of course! Elsie is in front, that's Nikki's butt.
Easter Morning at our house...Noah after his hair cut in this one. I guess he isn't happy that Emily got trail mix in her basket!

And another one of Emily for good measure. - this is her new "pretty smile" We are so proud!
We hope that you all had a blessed Easter and that the message of Jesus touched you. As always, we continue to pray for all our friends and family that can't be here with us and we truly hope you are doing well.
God Bless,
Gretchen, Mike, Emily, Noah, Nikki, and Elsie
