Well, Christmas came and went as fast as a blink of an eye. We had a great one and the kids were busy so that was good. Emily wanted to unwrap everyone's presents and Noah just wanted to play with the boxes. So, everyone was happy.
Santa came to the daycare. Noah was the only one in his class to sit with Santa and not scream. Emily was finally convinced to go see Santa, but of course, I couldn't get them together on Santa's lap! It was pajama day at school too so that was fun!
Emily wouldn't go to sleep on Christmas Eve, what a surprise! So, Mike found the NORAD Santa tracker and we looked up where Santa was on the computer and that worked for one time, the next, we had to make Santa call the house and say he was getting close and would be there soon and to make sure Emily was asleep! The look on her face was priceless! Mike got lots of bonus points for that one. She finally passed out at 10:45.
Here are some pictures from Christmas morning. A very tired Emily, but she did pretty well.
The stockings...
Emily opened all the presents..for everyone!
Typical, Noah has more fun with the boxes than with the new toys! The boy LOVES to climb!
And here is the disaster zone known as my living room.

Mike's family (6 of them) came up for the weekend after Christmas. It was a lot of fun and not too bad with 10 people in my house....we all survived with only a few scratches. I got a ginger bread house for Emily and her cousin Paige to decorate. I figured it would keep them busy for a little bit if we were stuck inside because of weather. Here is the side Emily decorated.

Mike's dad got stuck at the kiddy table, but I think he actually had more fun there!
We hope God continues to bless all of you as he has continued to bless us. Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday Jesus, and Happy New Year!
