Emily's big day!

Emily had a big day on Saturday. She got a major hair cut (there was a good reason for chopping it off...she looked like she had mange!), didn't we all want the Dorothy Hammil cut anyway?

Emily likes to twirl her hair and this has resulted in several large knots that have needed cutting to be removed. So, the left side of her head looked like she was almost bald. We needed some serious hair intervention. Mommy cried a little, but everyone has told her how cute it is.

Then, we took advantage of a friend and went to visit her at the barn where she boards her horse thinking we would just go look and maybe pet a few horses.

Well..not only did Daddy get to ride, but Emily got to ride 2 horses! These 2 are Emily on Bianca.



And this is our friend Gwen and her horse, Belle.


It was a good day!
